Giovanni Antonini, Il Giardino Armonico, Dmitry Smirnov: a triad that promises an unforgettable concert experience!
The violinist Dmitry Smirnov is said to have an “exuberant artistic personality and a wonderful sound, flexible and sensitive”. He prefers to characterize himself and his playing with the 16th century idea of “sprezzatura”: the ability to make strenuous and learning-intensive activities seem easy and effortless, but first and foremost “natural”. It is precisely in this spirit that he will set out to enchant the Innsbruck audience with three particularly virtuoso concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, Pietro Antonio Locatelli and Giuseppe Tartini. He will be congenially accompanied by Il Giardino Armonico and Giovanni Antonini. The master of the recorder will round off the evening with a concerto by Pietro Nardini.
